AUCTION RULES
Bid only when you mean it.
Chonk records bids and the auction result; a winning bid is not payment. The seller and winner confirm the transaction, using a separate checkout only when one is expressly offered.
Seller responsibilities
Describe the exact item honestly, use current photographs, state the end time, starting price, postage or collection terms and any material condition issue. Do not change a material term after bidding has begun.
Genuine bids
Bid only if you are genuinely prepared to buy. Do not bid on your own item, use another account to raise the price, coordinate false bids or interfere with another member's auction. Chonk may remove invalid bids or restrict an account where the evidence supports it.
Ending and payment
The highest valid bid recorded when the auction closes identifies the winner. Chonk does not take payment as part of bidding, and a winning bid is not proof of payment. The seller and winner confirm the final transaction and must follow the payment route shown for that auction.
If the completed auction separately offers optional Chonk checkout, only the authenticated winner can use it and the Purchase and seller payment terms apply. Cancelling or expiring an unpaid checkout does not reopen bidding. A direct payment arrangement remains outside Chonk checkout.
Problems and appeals
Report a misleading listing, false bid, account misuse or order problem through the relevant control or Help & Contact. Keep the auction reference and safe supporting information.
