Check the listing, seller, payment route and messages. Report suspicious or unsafe content without copying harmful material.
Accounts and messages
- Protect your sign-in method and review unexpected account prompts.
- Never send a password, one-time code, full card number or bank credential in a message.
- Be cautious if someone pressures you to move quickly, change the agreed route or ignore an order page.
- Do not open unexpected files or links that claim you must verify or release a payment.
Plants and listings
Check that photographs, condition, plant form, treatment history, seller type, delivery and price fit the advert. Ask for fresh evidence for an unusual or higher-value item. Chonk does not authenticate every plant or image.
AI-generated or materially edited imagery must not be used to misrepresent a plant. See AI Use & Human Oversight and the Listing Rules.
Payments
Use the route shown for the relevant Classifieds advert, completed auction or Mall order. Direct arrangements and Chonk checkout have different protections. Do not treat a screenshot or a return from Stripe as proof of payment.

Report safely
Use a report control on the relevant page or Help & Contact. Provide the URL and safe context. Do not download, copy or send suspected child sexual abuse material. Call 999 if someone is in immediate danger.
